Co Kerry Road Crash News Today
As per the police reports the car was driven by a man who was reported to be 40 years old and he was taken to the University Hospital Kerry. Police have also revealed that the driver suffered injuries but they were not life-threatening while the side passenger who was identified as a teen who was a student passed away in the accident. There were other two passengers as well who were transferred to the hospital with injuries. The crash occurred around 5:15 pm on Saturday, 29th of October 2022, and the crash occurred at Derrymore east, Tralee. Police stated that the road has been closed for further investigations and there are certain local divisions as well in the place.

The spokesperson of the An Garda Siochana, said that the accident occurred around 5: 15 pm and that the crash was a single-vehicle accident that did not involve any other vehicle at the time of the crash. It was also been said by the spokesperson that the road remains closed for investigation while he also added that the examinations are being carried out. The driver remains in stable condition. Although the teen was said to be a student and her death news was given out, the name and the identity of the teen were not revealed by the police. Also, the other passengers’ names and the driver’s names were also not revealed by the police.
What Is The Cause Of The Accident?
As there is no report from the police, nothing can be said about the accident or the cause behind the accident. As the police cleared that there was no other vehicle or any other person involved in the accident, that occurred than the vehicle itself, it can be said that there might be an influence of alcohol or there might be some disturbance in the car when the accident occurred, as there was no other force driven that would cause or result in the accident. As soon as the cause gets detected the police will reveal it, also the names of the victims are still to be revealed by the police, so there won’t be any delay in the revelation. As of now, the police have asked civilians for help. As there is no CCTV or any camera in the area where the accident occurred, the police asked the travellers for help. A spokesperson said in his statement that they request the travellers to report f there is anything captured in their dash cam or camera footage. The police asked the civilians to report if they have any footage of eth vehicle involved in the accident to report to the Tralee Garda station at 066 7102300 or to call the confidential line of Garda station at 18000 666 111 or if they are convenient they can also come to the station of Garda at any time. Police added that any evidence will be helpful.
