Are Banks Open On Presidents Day Holiday?
Those who will be closed and will be opened County Libraries, entertainment centers, parks:
- All Fairfax County Library branches will be closed; however, all Fairfax County Rec Centers will be open on a daily basis; and the Colvin Run Mill and Sully Historic Site will be closed as well. The visitor center at Riverbend Park, as well as the E.C. Lawrence, Hidden Oaks, and Hidden Pond, will be open until 4 p.m.
- The McLean Community Center was also shut down.
- The Hunters Woods Community Center in Reston will be accessible from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and the Lake Anne facilities would be closed. The Public Transit

- Recycling bins collection in the government will not change, but delivery companies may have alternative schedules. The County Public Works and Engineering Services departments’ management offices will be closed. Recycling and disposal centers will be open at the I-66 Transfer Station and the I-95 Landfill Complex. Town of Vienna:
- The town hall in Vienna will be closed, but the center will operate on a modified schedule from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., with special hours for the drop-in gym.
- Colvin Run Mill and Sully Historic Site will also be closed, as will regular waste collection. Administrative workplaces will be closed, as will the offices of the general public who work for the government. People who work in government offices, as well as those who work in the courts, will be closed as well.
