Who Was Cara Loughran?
Cara was a 14-year-old girl who was a dancer at the Drake School in South Florida and she had Irish roots. Cara’s father is from Co Antrim and the family was happy living. Cara’s aunt said in a public statement that there is no justice served at the end of the day. Lindsay Fontana, Cara’s aunt said in a Facebook statement that she was not happy with the result of the case. Lindsay said in the statement that, there is no justice served as the loved ones they lost in the shooting will not come back and the sadness prevailed. She added that the greatness they shared forever will be lost. Lindsay said that the man who pulled the trigger was a disaster being born and his existence was not meaningful to the world. Lindsay added that there is no justice in the society as at last there are many people dying in the country and there is no change in the society as well.

She referred to the deaths in the society that were happening to the gun culture and the shootings that occurred in the last few years in Florida. Lindsay said that though they will carry lights and candles for Carla in her memory, we will still know that she will be forever in our memory and that she was slaughtered and her laughter, love, and peace will be missed. Carla was shifted to the Drake School for her further studies and she was performing at the Drake school as well. In the memory of Carla, the school has started a play and it is performed every year in the name and memory of Carla. Another dancer named Christina Deacy launched a go-fund page in name of Carla and invited people to join the community host which was like an act of love,

The go-fund page has raised over 22,000 dollars for the support of their family Carla and encourages other Irish communities to join in dance as well. While on another hand, The Drake School holds proudly an Orange State Fies and Cara Dances Fies in the name of Carla and her dance. They also remember her every year and the wider Irish community as well. Cruz, who killed 17 people, especially children in the shooting apologized in a statement in court and that he is sorry for his actions. He said that he will do whatever he can to support the family of the deceased children that he killed. Cruz added that he would like to get punished or get death from the decision of the parents and the victim’s families rather than the Jury. While Jury will announce the decision soon on Cruz.
