Who Is STPeach?
The ban comes as a result of an online complaint, but it is up for debate whether it was justified or not. A report from The Broadcasting and Cable clarified the facts surrounding the matter. The hottest streamer on Twitch has been banned from the platform, but not for playing video games on the air. STPeach, real name Xiaohua, was banned for streaming a one-hour Cammy cosplay session rather than her usual Fortnite match of the day. Rising Twitch and League of Legends star STPeach was banned on Twitch this week after an exhibition of her cosplay as a character from the game.
STPeach Banned On Twitch, Why?
The Chinese League of Legends streamer, who previously appeared as a guest on the GameSpot stage at E3 2016 and was an honor student, channeled her inner Cammy White and cosplayed as the British fighting champion while live streaming, attracting thousands of viewers. In her own words, STPeach is “a self-employed woman who loves anime, cats, and video games. I accidentally stumbled upon the online world of social media and streaming about 4 years ago and have been having tons of fun since then, streaming daily.” But on Wednesday, she got a ban from Twitch for a few scantily clad (and censored!) shots which have now become part of her growing outrage in the community.
Twitch streamer STPeach Banned Reason
Robert “Wobbles” Wright has won the Super Smash Bros Melee tournament while the event closed with a Cammy cosplaying streamer getting banned from Twitch. The story is shocking, and it is difficult to believe that the Cammy cosplayer actually managed to get her account banned after only two hours of streaming. The chat was full of insults and all kinds of inappropriate suggestions, but the streamer did not stop or block anyone. It also seems like the streamer was not aware of what she had done, as she just enjoyed playing Street Fighter V for a couple of hours.
