The horrific crime happened at the daycare centre which was run by Loja. The lethal incident happened on Wednesday, 27th July 2022 when Loja called all those parents who left their children at a daycare centre. They informed them to not drop off their children on Wednesday. On Thursday, 28th July 2022, Elvis Espanol the neighbour of Loja informed the media outlet that “Yesterday morning, just prior to 10:00, a boy came to leave his child and she came to the door and stated, “I am really sorry but today I can not watch him. Hope you don’t mind.” Loja further added that “She described that she had called all the other parents to not drop off their children today.

And she asked them to take their kid with him.” The brother-in-law of Loja who seemingly lives in the home left briefly after but “did not watch or find anything strange”. Espanol further added that “He just left to the work and he stated he did not know anything until he receives a call and after that, he got to know about the crime. On the evening of Wednesday, 26th July, police officers reached the crime scene on Whaley Street and they discover the corpses of the 3 kids in the home, and the mother’s (36 years old) dead body was found in the shed which was located in the backyard of the house.

The husband of Loja who serves in landscaping left the house early. He dialled 911 in order to appeal a wellness check late in the day as he had been calling his spouse and she was not picking up her phone since the morning, as stated by the neighbour. He stated that “Her husband called the police and request them to perform a wellness check.” The police are currently investigating the matter and trying to find out the cause of the murder.
