She was suffering from a rare blood cancer called Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) last month of October. The late news anchor was raised in Midland which is in Michigan. She completed her broadcasting degree from Central Michigan University. After completing her studies she began to work with WNMEM TV 5 in the year 2013 and worked with the channel until she get wedded. After her marriage, she shifted with her husband to Las Vegas in the year 2016 and both began work together at Fox 5 station. After her demise, she left behind her husband and kids.
